SUMMARY:TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH Cookie Needs
DESCRIPTION:Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marseilles will once again be sponsoring a cookie drive.  Cookies will be packaged and distributed to patients of local nursing homes\, Veterans home\, the Youth Detention Home\, Under His Wings\, Servant’s Heart\, Lamb’s Fold and other charitable organizations.  \n  \nWe need approximately 6\,000 to 10\,000 cookies.  As in the past\, we are asking for assistance in providing cookies and packing them.  Cookies may be delivered to the church on Sunday\, November 30th\, or brought the day of cookie packing. Cookies in Marseilles can be picked up if needed. Call the church office 815-343-5537. \n  \nCookies will be counted and packed on Wednesday\, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. To speed up the operation\, please count your cookies and record the exact amount on the outside of the container.  Your help in packing would be greatly appreciated and bring your friends with you. All help is appreciated and a luncheon will be served. \n  \nPlease note that the cookies cannot contain fruit or nuts.  These items present health hazards to some residents. Any diabetic cookies should be labeled as such. \n  \nThese cookies are the only cookies\, and often the only Christmas gifts\, that are brought to these people at Christmas time. The recipients look forward to these cookies each year. This is a non-denominational project helping to spread the love of Christ.  \n  \nThank you for helping with this special project.
