Housing Rehabilitation Program – If the City is successful with this grant application residents can apply for grants to improve housing and rehabilitate and retrofit properties. A maximum of $650,000 in grant funds or $60,000 per household is available to improve the homes of low-to-moderate income residents of owner-occupied single-family housing units. Grants provide residents with safe and sanitary living conditions and help to stabilize neighborhoods and affordable housing in the community. Life safety issues must be addressed first such as plumbing and electricity.![]()

Patti Sarles Hart, born and raised in Marseilles and now residing in London, has presented the Marseilles Nursing Service with a significant donation of $50,000 a year for 3 years. The Marseilles Nursing Service provides cost-free services to the residents of Marseilles and is funded solely on donations.
